Character tracer

I have chosen to talk about Rowan. I think Rowan is a very thoughtful and mature person. I think that because she takes care of her little sister and act like the mother in the family even if she only is sixteen years old. She always takes care of her little sister even if she has something important to do. Like when she talked with Bee about Jack, she didn’t want to take Stroma with her but she did it anyway because she thought of Stromas life before hers and she didn’t want to leave her alone with their mother.

I also think that Rowan is a bit jealous. Because when she founded out that Bee and Jack were a couple she got really angry. Maybe it was because Bee didn’t told her about their relationship but I think it was because she got jealous, jealous of the time Bee got with Jack in the end of his life. That was time Rowan wanted to have with him and that made her jealous I think.

1. At page 81 Rowan asks Bee about her mother and Bee answers ”She’s pretty wild. She’s like an artist model and a professional hippy, and right now she’s in Madrid, cooking mocrobiotic food for this insane writer.” Do you think she’s telling the trough or do you think she exaggerating?

3. When Mrs Hardwick saw Rowan and Stroma went in to the ambulance she just called there father. Why do you think she didn’t go after them and saw if they were okay?

Zusammenfassung

Nadine ist 23 Jahre alt und arbeitet als mobile Haarstylistin aber sie ist auch ein ”Detektiv” oder sie arbeitet mit so genannten Straßensport. Vor einiger Zeit fand Nadine im Internet einen Werbebanner, der sie zu einer Streetspotern Website brachte und so begann sie mit Streetsporern. Heute Nadine kombinieret ihre Berufe durch immer mitbringen ihr Handy. Mit dem Handy kann sie fotografieren die Jobs, die sie gebeten worden und überprüfen ob die Jobs gemacht werden.

Der Brief

Hallo Nadine!

Ich heiße Hedda und ich bin 15 Jahre alt. Ich habe deinen Film gesehen und finde dass es sehr interessant ist. Ich habe noch nie Streetspotern gehört, aber es scheint spannend und eine gute Möglichkeit, Geld zu verdienen. Glaubst du, dass du mit Streetspotern in der Zukunft arbeitest?

When I read the first fifth of this book I connected it to the book/movie New moon. My connection is between Bella in New moon and Jane, Rowans mother. Bella gets depressed because Edward her boyfriend leaves her and Jane gets depressed because Jack dies. That one of the character is depressed in both books is one of my connections to New moon. The other one is that there’s a helper in both books. In New moon there is Jacob that helps Bella to feel good and he gets her on second thoughts.  And in our book ”Broken soup” Bee is the helper. I know that Bee doesn’t help Jane who is Bella in this book. But she helps Rowan and Rowan is affected by her mothers depression actually the whole family are affected by Jane’s depression and it drags the entire family down. In this book Bee gets Rowan on second thoughts and Rowan gets a rest from her mothers problem when she is with her friend Bee.
